NSP PLANNED POWER OUTAGE - JANUARY 19 at 7:30pm

While many Electric Utility customers have now had their power restored, Nova Scotia Power has discovered that a planned outage is required to remove a tree leaning heavily on a transmission line outside of our area.
Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Riverport and the surrounding area will all experience this PLANNED outage to safely remove the tree. The planned outage will begin at 7:30pm today, lasting approximately 15-30 minutes.

The Town of Lunenburg will open a warming/charging centre at the Fire Hall (25 Medway Street) today at 8am and it will remain open until power has been restored.
