The Town of Lunenburg’s Public Works Department recently placed concrete safety bumpers in select areas around town. The seasonal bumpers – to be removed during winter months – are an effort to improve public safety during the busier summer months.

It is hoped that the bumpers will allow for more space for pedestrian foot traffic at key intersections. Presently the bumpers can be found at:

• Both sides of King St. & Cumberland St. intersection

• Both sides of Rum Row & Bluenose Dr. intersection
